No-IP DNS issues

Seems a large number of No-IP domains have been seized by Microsoft and causing disruptions for customers who have Dynamic DNS setup for various services. The majority of Radio Parts customers who have purchased our security DVRs and who have had remote access services setup may have been affected by this.

Please see the No-IP blog for more information on this and for solutions to tackle it:

For a quick fix, you can create a new hostname using one of the following domains:

    • ddns.net
    • webhop.me
    • serveminecraft.net
    • ddnsking.com
    • onthewifi.com

To create a new hostname, login to your No-IP account and click on the Hosts/Redirects tab. Click a “Add a Host”. Type in your hostname and choose one of the working domains.

Alternatively, No-IP is working to get the old domains back in working order, so you can take a wait and see approach. If No-IP is successful in reinstating their domains, then your setup should continue to work like normal.
