Why have a downscaler for a 4K job?!
When you
have a 4K source (say a media player) going to a mix
of 4K and 1080p TVs, the source will default to the
lower denominator, which is 1080P.
This makes sense since a 4K TV can support a lower
resolution, but a 1080P TV can't support a higher
resolution (4K signal).
But if you have a 4K TV, you want a 4K image,
right?
The solution is to stick a Blustream
downscaler before each 1080P TV. The source will
think that each display is 4K and will allow each TV
to operate at its max resolution.

With the SC12SP you can run one output to a 4K TV
and one output to a lower resolution TV.
If you were to use a standard splitter, your beautiful
4K panel will default to a lower resolution, but
not with the SC12SP. By using this product, 4K is
maintained on one TV and the other output will use
EDID to determine the max resolution of the other TV.
It can also be used for larger jobs too, involving
multiple TVs, by splitting the 4K TVs and other TVs,
From there, you can use standard HDMI splitters to
cascade the signal.

Long distance HDMI
Some (presumably sick people) say there are many
ways of skinning a cat. We can say that there are
more ways of sending HDMI signal a long distance.
For 4K, a long way is more than 5m. One emerging
technology is fibre optics. The huge bandwidth of
fibre optics make it ideal for long runs (100m+), but
also increasingly for short distances too.
Celerity

signal capable of comfortably exceeding the demands
of 4K. The only problem is that HDMI's testing centres
have no way of officially testing this new technology.

The Ultra HD Premium logo identifies that particular
product will deliver detail (Ultra HD resolution),
greater contrast (HDR) and a wider colour gamut.
For many, High Dynamic Range and the wide colour
gamut (WCG) will be of most importance when
delivering a true to life picture. These TVs can
produce a brightness that would literally melt the
film on conventional projectors, a darkness that
approximates 0 nits (black) and colours that were not
even mapped by the original standard (Rec.709) set
since the 90s.
