The Edifier S2000MKIII active bookshelf speakers are astonishing . By Damo (Radio Parts Showroom Manager and sometimes Hi-Fi Guy) – We auditioned these in our showroom recently and our sales guys instantly agreed these are awesome speakers. (We have sold a number internally to our own staff already!) We love the superb amount of detail they reproduce, which probably has a lot to do with the Dual DSP Digital Audio Processing to process high and low frequencies individually. We also like the fact that it has a ton of connectivity options: both types of Digital Audio in, 2 Analogue RCA line inputs as well as Bluetooth with Hi-Res Audio supported, all easily selectable via the included remote control. 4 preset EQ modes along with Bass and Treble adjustments round out the impressive list of features of these speakers. The cabinets woodgrain style finish is also a thing of beauty. IRL these look extremely classy with the timber side panels, fine mesh grille and matte black cabinet and speaker drivers (the style was what first drew me in to wanting to unpack these and investigate them further and definitely not disappointed) Use these along with a pre-amped turntable an d you have a very tidy and amazing sounding alm ost retro Hi-Fi system with modern conveniences built in! Or throw away your old school plastic PC speakers and upgrade to these superb sounding beasts for audio quality that’s worth every cent! Edifiers’ range of speakers has always been impressive, and in each model represented in the range they consistently offer class leading sound quality every time as well as a stylish quality built product.
