Dear readers, With the introduction of Stage 4 restrictions in the Melbourne Metro area, lots of businesses have been hit hard, some even closing up shop. But we’re in the very fortunate position to say, we’re still here, still in operation (Monday to Friday, 7:30 till 17:30) & determined on not letting this Coronavirus get the better of us! Just like with the first outbreak, Radio Parts has adapted to all these new regulations that have sprung up in order to best protect not just our staff, but all those we come in contact with, including customers & suppliers: f We have closed our showroom from all public access and instead have focused our resources on supporting phone & online orders for deliveries. This has enabled some of our showroom staff to boost the ranks of our customer service team, allowing us to answer your queries & process your orders more promptly. f Our staff are now in a work-from-home rotation, which minimises the number of workers on-site whilst maintaining productivity f Our returns department will also have an extra set of hands which will facilitate in better response times & faster turn arounds for products f We have dropped the minimum price of our free shipping for Melbourne Metro orders to over $49 to help make things a little easier for our customers f We are also looking into possibly implementing a contactless Click & Collect system. This would involve customers purchasing their goods online or over the phone, driving into our car park once the order has been picked, parking in an allocated “pick-up bay” and calling us to quote their order number so a team member can bring the goods directly to the car. (We will advise you if and when this system will go ahead) Most importantly we would like to acknowledge and thank all our customers for their continued understanding, patience and support with the operational changes we’ve had to implement due to Coronavirus restrictions. It hasn’t been easy, and we sincerely hope you stay safe and continue your much appreciated trading relationship with us, as we all learn to adjust during these troubled times. All the best!
